நிகழ்படக்கோப்பு வடிவம்
நிகழ்படக்கோப்பு வடிவங்கள் (Video file formats) என்பது எண்ணிம நிகழ் படங்களை சேமிப்பதற்கும், பயன்படுத்தவும், மேலாண்மை செய்யவும் உறுதுணையாக விளங்கும் சீர்தரமுள்ள கோப்பு வடிவங்கள் ஆகும். இவை கணினியின் கோப்புக் கட்டகத்தில் சேமித்து வைக்கப் படுகின்றன. இவ்வாறு சேமிக்கப்படும் போது, அவற்றின் கோப்பு அளவு சுருக்கியே(compressed) சேமித்து வைக்கப்படுகின்றன. கட்டற்ற மென்பொருளான 'எஃப் எஃப் எம் பெக்' (ffmpeg) கூகுள் நிறுவனத்தின், யூடியூப் சேவையில் அதிகம் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.[1]ஒவ்வொரு நிகழ்பட சேமிப்புக் கலனும், தன்னகத்தே ஒளி, ஒலி, உரை(மீதரவு) வடிவங்களை சேமித்து வைத்துக் கொள்ளும் இயல்பு உடையதாக உள்ளன.
