அரேந்திர கூமர் முகர்சி
அரேந்திர கூமர் முகர்சி (Harendra Coomar Mookerjee 1887 -1956) என்பவர் இந்திய அரசியலமைப்பு நிர்ணய மன்றத்தின் துணைத் தலைவராக இருந்தவர். இந்திய அரசியல் சட்டத்தை உருவாக்குவதற்கு இந்திய அரசியலமைப்பு நிர்ணய மன்றம் அமைக்கப்பட்டது இந்தியா விடுதலை பெற்ற பின்னர் இவர் மேற்கு வங்க மாநிலத்தின் முதல் ஆளுநர் ஆனார்.[1][2][3]
அரேந்திர குமார் முகர்சி வங்கத்தில் வங்காளி குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்தார். முதுகலை ஆய்வுப் பட்டம் ஆகியவற்றை கொல்கத்தா பல்கலைக் கழகத்தில் படித்துப் பெற்றார். மெய்யியல் ஆங்கில இலக்கியம் ஆகியவற்றில் முனைவர் பட்டங்கள் பெற்றார். கொல்கத்தா பல்கலைக் கழகத்தில் விரிவுரையாளராகவும் பேராசிரியராகவும் பணி செய்தார். வங்காளத்தில் கிறித்தவ மக்களின் தலைவராகவும் சிறுபான்மை இன மக்களின் தலைவராகவும் இருந்து அவர்களின் உரிமைகளுக்காகச் செயல்பட்டார்.
வங்கத்தில் வாழ்ந்த கிறித்தவர்கள் சார்பாக இயங்கினார். அவர் தேசிய அரசியலில் நுழைந்த பின்னர் இந்திய கிறித்தவர்கள் அனைத்திந்திய கவுன்சிலின் தலைவராகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார்.[4][5] இந்திய தேசிய காங்கிரசின் உறுப்பினராகவும் இருந்தார்.

The Vice President of the Constituent Assembly was Professor Harendra Coomar Mookerjee, former Vice-Chancellor of Calcutta University and a prominent Christian from Bengal who also served as the Chairman of the Minorities Committee of the Constituent Assembly. He was appointed Governor of West Bengal after India became a republic.
