This template is designed to be used in score summaries for the இந்தியன் பிரீமியர் லீக், when filling in the team1, team2 and result fields of {{Limited Overs Matches}}. The available teams are:

பெங்களூர் ராயல் சேலஞ்சர்ஸ்: {{Cr-IPL|bang}} → பெங்களூர் ராயல் சேலஞ்சர்ஸ்
கொல்கத்தா நைட் ரைடர்ஸ்: {{Cr-IPL|kolk}} → கொல்கத்தா நைட் ரைடர்ஸ்

Old icons are to be used for individual year pages, to represent the team colours during that year. The template is similar, with a year indicating the first year of the colours use.

Usage[தொகு]

For each of the teams in the IPL, there are 5 variations of the template. Using the கொல்கத்தா நைட் ரைடர்ஸ் team as a demonstration, the options are as follows:

Kolkata is the team batting first and the home team. To be used in the team1 field.

Kolkata is the team batting first and the away team. To be used in the team1 field.

Kolkata is the team batting second and the home team. To be used in the team2 field.

Things to note[தொகு]

The templates are designed to be used so that, as is the case with the format for international matches, the first team listed in a score summary will be the team which bats first.
These domestic team templates, unlike the National team templates, will indicate with a "(H)" symbol which team is the home team. This is entirely appropriate (except in certain circumstances like if a tournament is held all at one ground) because, unlike International matches, domestic competitions are usually held on a "home and away" basis, where each team will play every other team both home and away (see for example 2008 இந்தியன் பிரீமியர் லீக்). By contrast, most International tournaments and series are played entirely in one country (see for example 2007–08 Commonwealth Bank Series).
