  • Issue 1: Many articles have been about American pop stars, films etc, which have lesser priority on Tamil Wikipedia.
Who determines the 'priority'? Wikipedia is an open knowledge source going by criterion like Notability. Surely American pop stars like Madonna are very notable people
  • Issue 2: Several articles replace good quality Tamil Wikipedia articles that were existing.
This looks lime a sweeping generalization. When you say 'several', how many? what was the condition of the articles before that? How did it happen?
Topic selection is left to individual writers, a "committee" cannot decide that. Please go through Wiki guidelines before talking of 'prioriy'. You are nobody to impose your priorities on others. Please rate each google translated article on each of these criteria before making sweeping generalizations.

Individual vs The Corporation vs The Community[தொகு]

Please note that these suggestions are for the Google initiative, not for individual users. You as an individual are welcome to contribute on any topic of you choice. But, when a corporation implements a project, the guidelines are different. Each local wiki community has to evaluate and make the decisions. The topic recommendations were not done by me, but by a group of active Tamil Wikipedia users and admins.
