பல சமயங்களின் சின்னங்கள்

சமயம் அல்லது மதம் என்பது கடவுள் நம்பிக்கையின் அடிப்படையிலான கோட்பாட்டமைப்புகளில் ஒன்று ஆகும். ஒரு கடவுள் அல்லது கடவுள்கள் மீதான நம்பிக்கையும் அது தொடர்பான செயற்பாடுகளும், சமயச் சடங்குகளும் மதம் குறிக்கிறது.[1]

சமயம் அல்லது மதம் - மனிதன் கடவுள் நிலையை அடைவதற்கான வழியினை வாழ்ந்துகாட்டினார்கள் (இறைவன், ஆண்டவன், யோகிகள், ஞானிகள், மகான்கள்). இவர்களை பின்பற்றி வாழ்ந்த மக்கள் காலம் செல்ல செல்ல அவர்கள் கூறியதை "அனைவரும் ஒன்றே" என்பதை மறந்து மற்றவர்களிலிருந்து தங்களை வேறுபடுத்திக்காட்டப் பயன்படுத்த ஆரம்பித்தனர்.
