It is wrong to say தலித் இந்துக்கள் மாட்டிறைச்சியை உண்பதுண்டு. U cannot the eating habit to a particular caste. Eating beef by a hindu is a personal choice irrespective of his caste--ரவி 12:41, 7 ஏப்ரல் 2006 (UTC)

Every action is a personal choice. However, certain generalizations are helpful in thinking about the world. We must be careful in stating generalizations, so that approximations can be appropriate.

India is among the top five produces of beef. In general, most Brhamins are vegetarians, and various caste Hindues would specifically exempt from eating beef. Mostly, Dalit Hindues and Moslems consume beef in India, and possibly other minorities such as Christians also consume beef. Having said that, I am not sure that point need to made here.
